Oak framed dining/kitchen chairs by William Birch of High Wycombe, dating from around 1890.
An iconic design, all displaying a wonderful rich oak colouring. Two with the original rush seats and four chairs having later cord seats. The difference on seat material being hardly noticeable in situ.
Good period condition with age related wear and marks to the frames and seats.
To note: wear to the rush seat on one chair, see picture 12.
